Ultravac Operating Instructions
1.
Remove pump lid by turning anti clockwise.
2.
Once removed fill the pump housing with water. Ensure that the basket is located correctly and in position.
3.
Replace the lid ensuring that the 'O' is located correctly and lubricated with an approved "O" ring lubricant.
4.
Connect the return vacuum hose to the hose adaptor located on top of the Multicyclone Plus. We recommend
using a clamp to ensure a tight seal.
5.
Connect your telescopic handle to the vacuum head of your choice depending upon the surface being
cleaned.
6.
Connect the vacuum hose to the vacuum head.
7.
Place the vacuum head on the bottom of the pool, water feature or water body that is being cleaned.
8.
Place the hose into the water to ensure that the hose is full of water and all air is expelled.
9.
Connect the vacuum hose to the hose adaptor located on the suction side of the pump. We recommend
using a clamp to ensure a tight seal.
10.
Turn the pump on by turning the isolator switch to the "on" position. Ensure the pump primes.
11.
Proceed to clean the pool, water feature or water body.
12.
Periodically inspect if the strainer basket requires cleaning and if so, proceed to empty the basket.
Cleaning of filter cartridge
1.
Remove the lid of the Multicyclone Plus by unscrewing the clamp arrangement at the top of the unit and
removing.
2.
Remove the cartridge element from the housing.
3.
Clean the filter cartridge with clean water, by hosing or soaking in a dedicated cartridge cleaner as necessary.
After time the cartridge may need to be replaced and if this is the case the product code is 62451.
4.
Once clean, place the cartridge element back into the housing ensuring that it is located correctly.
5.
Replace the cover.
6.
Re-fit the clamp hand tight. This will produce a water tight seal.
