2. INTRODUCTION & SPECIFICATION
2.1. INTRODUCTION
Weatherproof composite spotlight with swivel handle feature allowing pistol grip or carry handle operation. Integral adjustable foot doubles as
a carry handle when used in pistol grip mode. Ø125mm with 1Watt CREE bulb produces 3-million candle power with 2 selectable modes of
brightness lasting up to 20 hours on one charge. Suitable for a wide variety of applications. Supplied with 6Volt 2.5Ah sealed battery, in-car
charger and 230V mains charger.

3. OPERATION
3.1. OPERATION
WARNING! Ensure that you read, and fully understand the safety instructions before use.
1. Charge the batteries before use.
IMPORTANT: Ensure the spotlight is turned 'Off' whilst charging. Failure to do so will damage the charger plug/vehicle plug.
2. Turn spotlight 'On' and 'Off' by the rocker switch (fig.1.A) on the main body. Select position 'I' for NORMAL power and position 'll' for HIGH
power. Select position 'O' to turn the spotlight 'Off'.
3. The spotlight has a fixed carrying handle (fig.2.A), a rotatable pistol grip handle (fig.2.B) and a swivel standing support (fig.2.C). To
operate the rotatable pistol grip handle, push the handle button (fig.2.D) and turn the handle to the upper or lower position. To operate the
swivel standing support, pull it either to the front or rear of the spotlamp. The swivel standing support doubles as a carry handle when using
the pistol grip handle.
3.2. BATTERY CHARGING
WARNING! Ensure that you read, fully understand, and apply the safety instructions relating to the batteries and charger before use.
3.2.1. Mains Charger plug
1. Ensure the spotlight is turned 'Off' and then plug the charger adaptor (fig.3) into the jack inlet (fig.1.B) on the spotlight body. Stand the
spotlight in a safe location ready to charge.
2. Plug charger into the mains supply.
3. Allow approximately 15 hours for the initial charge and for susequent charges.
4. When full charge has been reached, switch off the mains supply and unplug the charger from the mains and then from the spotlight. The
spotlight is now ready for use.
5. Store the charger in a safe, dry location.
Notes: a) Fully charged batteries will last for approximately 20 hours on NORMAL power and 10 hours on HIGH power.
b) DO NOT fully discharge the batteries before recharging.
c) DO NOT leave batteries in a discharged state, recharge batteries immediately. If the spotlight is not in use, recharge the batteries every
three months.
3.2.2. Vehicle Charger plug
1. Ensure the spotlight is turned 'Off' and then plug the vehicle charger plug (fig.4) into the jack inlet (fig.1.B) on the spotlight body. Stand the
spotlight in a safe location ready to charge.
2. Insert the charger plug into the vehicle's accessory socket (12V only).
3. Allow approximately 15 hours for the initial charge and for subsequent charges.
4. When full charge has been reached, unplug the adaptor from the vehicle's accessory socket and then from the spotlight. The spotlight is
now ready for use.
5. Store the charger plug adaptor in a safe, dry location.
NOTE: Charging the spotlight from a 12V vehicle socket will drain the vehicle's battery, unless the engine is running.
