MAINTENANCE
4.1. CHANGING THE BATTERIES
WARNING! Ensure that you read, understand and apply the safety instructions relating to the batteries before changing them.
1. Ensure the spotlight is turned 'Off' before attempting to change the battery.
2. Undo the 2 battery cover retaining screws (fig.5.A) at the rear of the spotlight.
3. Remove the battery cover (fig.5.B).
4. Disconnect the black wire from the black negative terminal (fig.6.A) and the red wire from the red positive terminal (fig.6.B).
WARNING! Beware of causing a short circuit.
5. Carefully withdraw battery from spotlight body.
6. Replace with genuine Sealey battery and install by reversing the above procedure.
NOTE: Take care not to pinch or mis-connect any wires.
7. Dispose of old batteries in accordance with local authority lead-acid battery regulations. DO NOT dispose of with regular refuse.
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste.
All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycle centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment.
When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for
recycling information.

Refer to Section 4.1 to remove the battery.
Dispose of batteries according to local authority guidelines.
