2.4 Advice and safety
Never pull on the power cord to remove the plug from the wall outlet; always pull the
plug.
Do not operate the device near heat sources or in rooms with high humidity.
Do not cover the air vents so that any heat generated by the device can be dissipated
by air circulation.
An installation must be carried out by qualified personnel.
The device must be out of reach of unauthorized persons.
The device is only to be used for operating inductive loop systems.
Install the device and its wiring in such a way that there is no danger, e.g. by falling or
tripping.
Connect the loop driver only to wiring which complies to IEC 60364.
3. Function
An inductive listening system basically consists of a copper wire connected to a loop
amplifier. Connected to an audio source, the loop amplifier generates a magnetic field in
the copper conductor. The listener's hearing aids receive these inductive audio signals
wirelessly in real time and directly in the ear - free from distracting ambient noise.
4. Indicators, connectors and controls
4.1 Indicators
The function status of the loop amplifier is continuously monitored. If an error occurs within
the amplifier unit, the loop conductor or the inputs, this is indicated by corresponding
LEDs on the front panel. The error status is also given out via the fault relay at the same
time.
4.2 Loop output
The »PRO LOOP NX7« is constructed with two channels and thus has two loop outputs.
