- Page 4 Bird Gard AVA Suggested Installations Sound Dispersion The sound pattern produced by Av-Alarm is shown in Figure 1. Each speaker enclosure contains one speaker which is phased for optimum sound pressure dispersion. The sound is directional and pancake shaped. For adequate bird control, sound intensity must be above ambient background noise which is 70 decibels or greater.
