SC-F Series DTG Recover From Storage Mode
•
Clear any dust from the printer surface, filters and print area.
•
Empty the waste ink bottle.
•
Prepare the ink cartridges and shake the colour inks approximately 15 times over 5 secs, and the
white inks for 50 times each side over 15 secs.
•
Open the cover and check the flushing box condition. Clean/replace as required.
•
Switch on the printer and follow the prompts to replace the cleaning solution with the prepared
ink cartridges. Follow the instructions until the printer returns to a ready state.
•
Go to Epson.co.uk/support to find your model and update the firmware to the latest available.
Restart the printer once the firmware update has completed.
•
Carry out the head/cap maintenance as laid out in the user guide.
•
Perform a cleaning cycle from the printers control panel.
•
Run a nozzle check and observe the results.
•
If only a few nozzles are missing run a light clean to recover, for more extensive nozzle loss
perform the heavy clean up to a maximum of three times, running a nozzle check in between.
