If the driver is loaded correctly and the correct COM port is enabled, and the unit will still
not connect, try the following. Sometimes either the PC com port or the DST com port
lock up and this should release it.
1) Disconnect the DST/USB Interface Module from the Digi-Stem and remove the
battery
2) Disconnect the DST/USB Interface Module from the computer
3) Close the DSTCAL program
4) Restart the computer
5) Open DSTCAL
6) Connect the DST/USB Interface Module to the computer
7) Install the battery into the Digi-Stem
8) Connect the DST/USB Interface Module to the Digi-Stem PC Board making
sure the red wire is on Pin 1 of J3.
9) In DSTCAL click on "Poll for Module". Sometimes this may take a couple
attempts so if it doesn't connect try it again. If after 4 unsuccessful attempts then
press "Select Com Port" and press the "Scan All Com Ports" button.
