IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using your kettle, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
1. Read all instructions carefully, even if you are
familiar with the appliance.
2. Close supervision is necessary when any
appliance is used by or near children.
3. Before connecting the kettle, check if the
voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds
with the mains voltage in your home. If this is
not the case, contact your dealer and do not
use the kettle.
4. Switch off and unplug from the outlet before
filling, emptying or cleaning, or when not in
use.
5. Allow appliance to cool before lifting or storage.
6. Do not operate or place any part of this
appliance on or near any hot surface (such as
gas or electric burner or in a heated oven).
7. Outside surface of the kettle may get hot during
use, please take care when using the kettle
8. Never yank on the cord as this may damage
the cord and eventually cause a risk of electric
shock.
9. If the supply cord of this appliance is damaged,
it must only be replaced by a repair shop
appointed by the manufacturer, because
special purpose tools are required.
10. Do not move away container while appliance is
under operation.

(located in main body beneath the lid).
13. Take care when opening the water tank as
steam may escape.
14. Do not fill the water jug with any other liquid
other than water.
15. Do not fill the water jug above the maximum
level or allow it to go below the minimum level.
16. Do not remove lld while the water Is boiling.
17. Extreme caution is necessary when moving any
containers of hot waters.
18. Do not allow the power cord to hang over the
edge of the work surface or touch any hot
surfaces. Avoid spillage on the connector/cord
entry.
19. To prevent damage to the appliance do not
use alkaline cleaning agents when cleaning,
use a soft cloth and a mild detargant Clean
thoroughly before finst use
20. To protect from electrical hazard, do not
immerse this kettle or cordset in any liquid.
21. Repairs and other work undertaken on the unit
must only be done by authorised specialist
personnel!
22. This product has not been designed for any
other uses than those specified in this manual.
23. This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
lack of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person
