Remove the protective film from the lens, unscrew the body and remove the yellow insulating film.
Put the pin tool through the light lanyard hole and then hook the lanyard to the hole.
When the proximity sensor detects an obstruction nearby, the brightness will automatically reduce. The light will shut down directly if the blockage continues for more than 60 seconds. The sensor is sensitive to occlusion only (the sensing distance will be different due to different colors and materials).

ON/OFF: When the light is not locked out, single click switch to turn on/off.
CHANGE BRIGHTNESS LEVEL: When the light is on, press and hold the switch to cycle through the mode sequence moonlight (or turbo, SOS) - low - medium - high - low. The mode is selected when the switch is released.
MOONLIGHT MODE: When the light is off or in standby mode, press and hold the switch for over one second to access the moonlight mode.
DIRECT ACCESS TO TURBO: Enter and exit Turbo mode: quickly double click the switch to enter Turbo mode, and quickly double-click the switch again to exit Turbo mode. When the memorized mode is on high, quickly double-click the switch to exit Turbo mode and switch to medium mode. When the memorized mode is Medium, Low, or Moonlight, quickly double click the switch to exit turbo mode and switch to the previously memorized mode.
SOS: Quickly triple click the switch to access the SOS mode.
TIMER: The Perun 2 has a long (9 minutes) and short (3 minutes) timer when the light needs to be automatically turned off. When the flashlight is on, double click and hold the switch under the current brightness level to access the timer settings. A single blink accesses the short timer while two blinks accesses the long timer. The flashlight will automatically turn off when the timer is up. After the timer is set, double click and hold the switch to shift the timer settings. When the timer is up and the user is about to enter the timer again, the light will return to the last timer setting.
LOCKOUT: When the light is off, press and hold the switch for two seconds to access the button lockout mode. Under the lockout mode, press and hold the switch for less than two seconds without releasing it and the light will enter the moonlight mode again. The light will quit the moonlight mode once the switch is released and it will return to and stay at the button lockout mode.
BUTTON UNLOCK: Press and hold the switch for about two seconds until the light gives a single blink and then release the switch. The light will unlock and will return to the moonlight mode.
