you've purchased and active rentals, but does not include the movies and TV shows that you
watched through Prime Instant Video. Content you purchase is stored in the Cloud and
available to stream to your Amazon Fire TV. Movies and TV shows from third-party apps,
such as Netflix and Hulu, can be accessed directly from the apps in the Apps section, not the
Video Library.

Use Amazon Fire TV as a Display Mirroring Destination

You can wirelessly display your Kindle Fire HDX screen and audio on your TV screen using
Amazon Fire TV.
Important: Before you begin, make sure your Amazon Fire TV and Kindle Fire HDX are
turned on and connected to the same wireless network as each other.
To start Display Mirroring from your Kindle Fire HDX to your TV:

You can enhance your experience with Amazon Fire TV by using Second Screen features
from compatible devices like your Kindle Fire HDX.

1. From the Home screen, select Video Library.
2. Locate the movie or TV show you want to watch and select Watch Now or Resume
(if you previously didn't finish the video) to being streaming the movie or TV show.
1. From the Home screen, navigate to Recently Added Prime or Top Prime Movies
and TV.
2. Locate the movie or TV show you want to watch and select the video artwork to start
streaming the movie or TV show at no additional cost.
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen to open Quick Settings and then tap
Settings.
2. Tap Display & Sounds, and then tap Display Mirroring.
Your Amazon Fire TV device should appear in the list of Devices.
3. Select your Amazon Fire TV device.
It may take 10-20 seconds for your Kindle Fire HDX screen to appear on your TV
screen. To stop mirroring your Kindle Fire, tap Stop Mirroring.
