Varying settings over a series of photographs
(Bracketing)
Bracketing is used to vary shooting settings such as exposure and white balance over a series of shots.
Depending on the setting, you may be able to combine several different forms of bracketing. Use
bracketing if you are unsure what settings to use or lack the time needed to change settings during
shooting. You can also store bracketing settings and later recall them simply by turning bracketing on.
AE BKT (AE bracketing)
The camera varies the exposure of each shot. You can select the
bracketing increment from 0.3 EV, 0.7 EV, and 1.0 EV. In single-
frame shooting mode, one photograph is taken each time the
shutter button is pressed all the way down, while in sequential
shooting mode the camera continues to take shots in the following
order while the shutter button is pressed all the way down: no
modification, negative, positive.
Number of shots: Choose from 2, 3, 5, or 7.
