ECP2010 / ECP2010H 5. C ONTROL FROM During unit control from PC communication proceeds through serial line RS232, USB or through LAN. Communication protocol can be supplied upon request. Unit may be controlled with SW Clarity or ECOMAC. When using program Clarity for pump control, use last upgraded program version, including drivers for this unit.
6.1.2.1. High Pressure Limit High pressure limit can be set in the range for ECP2010 / ECP2010H 1.0 - 40.0/60.0 MPa (150 - 5800/8700 psi). Minimál value of high pressure limit is 1 MPa (150 psi) higher than value of low pressure limit.
ECP2010 / ECP2010H 6.2.1. General In these sub menus can be set pressure units, display brightness, sounds and pump mode. 6.2.1.1. Pressure Units Pressure units can be set to MPa (megapascal), PSI (pound-force per sq. inch) and BAR (bar). 1 MPa =10 bar = 145 psi. Default pressure unit is MPa.
ECP2010 / ECP2010H 6.2.3. Gradient Here can ge set possibilities of gradient functions. 6.2.3.1. Gradient Cycles Here can be set number of cam cycles of the pump, necessary for one gradient mixing cycle. Default setting is AUTOMATIC, when can be used one cycle with flowrate up to 2.5 ml/min, two cycles with flowrates from 2.5 up to 5.0 ml/min and 4 cycles for flowrates over 5.0 ml/min.
ECP2010 / ECP2010H – FW 5. ULSATION OMPENSATION STARTING FROM Setting Description Compensation is turned off. Motor runs steadily independently of pressure. Warnings about exceeding pulsation limit are not active. Default value. LEARNED 0 Compensation works on learned pump run. Learned process is temporary. By turning the pump off and on the learned process is canceled.
ECP2010 / ECP2010H 6.2.7. Leakage Leakage sensor contains reference and measuring sensor. If measuring sensor is immersed in liquid, sensor generates a signal. Processing of this signal depends on actual setting. The pump also processes the leakage sensor from connected box. Behavior setting is then common for both sensors, but descriptions of warnings and errors are different.
Note: Gradient program functions is available starting from firmware (FW) verzion 4.x. Both types of pumps ECP2010 / ECP2010H enable setting of 12 gradient programs directly in the unit. Programming offers a tool for gradient concentration course control and controlling mobile phase flowrate in time.
