NEVER exceed the UK maximum speed of 40kph (25mph) unless the trailer is fitted
with high‐speed axles, suspension, air brakes, load sensing, automatic slack adjusters
and ABS. Legislation in other Countries may vary.
NEVER operate the machine unless on the driver's seat in the tractor.
NEVER tamper with a safety device on the machine.
NEVER couple the trailer to a tractor, which does not have a hitch or drawbar
capable of withstanding imposed load on drawbar, if in doubt check with
manufacturer of the tractor. For maximum permitted load imposed on drawbar see
marker plate on trailer.
NEVER carry out any maintenance to the door or in the surrounding area with the
door unsupported. If the door jams during operation refer to the unblocking
procedure.
NEVER operate the machine if it is damaged, incorrectly adjusted or
unassembled.
NEVER operate the trailer unless suitably trained and if operating on the
public road the driver must possess a valid driving licence.
NEVER attempt to unhitch the trailer with the body in the raised position.
NEVER rest the drawbar on anything else other than the parking stand
supplied with the trailer.
NEVER tip below or near overhead powerlines and maintain a safe distance from
powerlines to prevent electrical arcing. Check decal on trailer for maximum tipping
height.
ALWAYS ensure no one is behind the trailer before tipping or reversing.
ALWAYS keep clear of the rear door to avoid crushing.
ALWAYS park the trailer on level ground and engage the park brake. If on an
incline use wheel chocks in addition to the park brake.
ALWAYS apply the park brake, stop the tractor and remove key before
carrying out any maintenance.
ALWAYS use secondary coupling.
ALWAYS drive with caution on slopes and make allowances for ground
conditions.
ALWAYS clear obvious hazards and operate with care.
ALWAYS carry out maintenance on the hydraulic system when the oil in the machine
is cool and when there is no residual pressure in the circuit. Skin could be
penetrated from hydraulic oil under pressure.
ALWAYS preform a daily check on the machine before starting.
ALWAYS secure a machine inside the body using suitable chains.
ALWAYS remove the light guards before using the trailer on the public road.
