スポーツ走行時等において加減速やコーナリングによって車両に姿勢変化や慣性力が発生したとき、
オイルパン内ではオイルは偏ったり、飛び上がりを起こし、それはエンジンの油膜切れの原因となります。
TOMEIバッフルプレートは上記のような状態となるオイルを、あらゆる走行条件下でも吸引を途切れさせないよう
に考案したスポーツ走行用複合型バッフルプレートです。
複合形状のバッフルがオイルの飛散や姿勢変化による油面の傾斜を受け止め、オイルの油面を安定させます。

During hard acceleration, deceleration and cornering, the sudden change in inertial forces will cause
the oil to jump and move around too much which causes the oil move away from the oil pickup and in turn
cuts oil supply to the engine.
The TOMEI baffle plate is designed to prevent this problem from happening under any situation by the
multi-plated structure and help the stable oil supply at all times.

- Page 3 装着について 作業に入る前に確認してください オイルパンバッフルは純正のブロックとオイルパンに挟み込む要領で取り付けを行います。 この取り付けにはブロックとバッフル、バッフルとオイルパン間に液体ガスケットを塗布します。 作業前に以下の手順確認を行い液体ガスケットの塗布と取付け作業がスムーズに行えるように準備をしてください。 1. オイルパンを取り外す。 オイルパンの脱着や、その他関連して発生する作業は、整備要領書を参考にしてください。 2. 取り外したオイルパンおよび、ブロック側のオイルパン合わせ面の洗浄と脱脂を行う。 3. エンジンブロックの合わせ面に液体ガスケットを塗布する。 液体ガスケット 液体ガスケットは必要以上に塗布しない ようにしてください。 4. エンジンブロックにバッフルを取り付ける。 〇部分は装着時にオイルパンから少しはみ出るように設計されて います。その部分はテープなどを用いた、バッフルの仮止め時に 利用してください。...

- Page 6 INSTALLATION Check before start installation This TOMEI Oil Pan Baffle will be sandwiched in between the engine block and the oil pan. Liquid (silicone) gasket will be required both on the block side and the oil pan side. Check all the following procedures before start the installation for a smooth installation.
- Page 7 5. Oil Pan Installation Apply silicone-based liquid gasket to the oil pan flange and install the oil pan with the bolts noted below. Bolt M6×16 【Torque Specs : 0.65kgf-m (6.5N・m)】 Liquid Gasket(Silicone) CAUTION Make sure the oil level is proper and there is no sign of oil leaks before start the engine. Any failures during the procedures and/or running the engine under improper condition may cause personal injury and/or damage to the engine/car.
