IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

The safety of electrical appliances from FIRST
Austria complies with the recognized technical
directives and legal regulations for safety.
Nevertheless, you and the other users of the
appliance should observe the following:
• Please read these instructions carefully before
using this appliance for the first time and
keep them for further reference.
• This product has not been designed for
any other uses than those specified in this
manual.
• Before connecting the appliance to the
power source, check if the voltage indicated
on the appliance corresponds with the
mains voltage in your home. If this is not the
case, contact your dealer and do not use the
appliance.
• Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a
table or counter. Do not let the cord touch
hot surfaces.
• To protect from electrical hazard, do not
immerse this appliance or cordset in any
liquids.
• If the appliance or the power cord shows
any signs of damage, do not operate it! Take
the product to an authorized and qualified
service center for inspection or repair.
• Container must be properly in place before
operating the coffee mill.
• The use of attachments not recommended
or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire,
electric shock or injury.
• This device is intended for home use only, do
not use it commercially.
• Do not use this appliance outdoors.
• Do not leave the appliance unattended while
it is operating.
• Do not touch any moving parts while the
appliance is operating.
• Always disconnect the appliance from power
after use, before cleaning and in the event of
a malfunction.
• Do not pull directly on the power cord, rather
pull on the plug to disconnect the appliance
from the power source.
• Be careful when handling sharp blades.
• The appliance is not a toy. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
• Children do not realize the dangers which can
arise when working with electrical appliances.
Therefore, they should only be allowed to
use electrical appliances under supervision.
Special care should be taken in the presence
of children.
• This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.
• We are excluded of liability for all damages
that may arise if the appliance is used for
purposes other than originally intended or if
it is used inappropriately.
• Repairs and other work undertaken on
the unit must only be done by authorised
specialist personnel!
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
Before using the appliance for the first time,
make sure the unit is unplugged and wipe the
cup, the blade and the inner cover with a clean,
dry cloth.
1. Pour the coffee beans into the grinding cup
(max 60 g)
2. Put the lid on it and rotate it clockwise to lock
it in place
NOTE: For safety reasons, the appliance only
works if the lid has firmly locked in place. To
ensure nobody can touch the blade or moving
parts during operation.
3. Connect the appliance to the power supply
4. Hold the button to start grinding
NOTE: To avoid overheating, do not operate the
grinder for more than 30 seconds at a time.
Allow the unit to cool down at least for 1 minute
after each use, and 30 minutes after 3 cycles.
5. Release the Button to stop grinding
6. Unplug from power before pouring out the
coffee powder
HINT:
This product has a cord-wrap at the bottom of
the main machine. If the power cord is too long,
wrap it around the winding frame till it has the
desired length.

CLEANING AND STORAGE
CLEANING
a. Unplug the unit and clean the inside of the
metallic bowl with a dry cloth.
b. Clean the blade with a soft cloth.
c. Clean the power cord and plug only with a
dry cloth. Keep the plug dry and free from
moisture.
ATTENTION: Do not immerse the appliance
into water or other liquids and never put it
into the dishwasher!
STORAGE
If the appliance is not used for a long time, clean
all parts and attach them to the main machine
after they have been dried completely. Store
them together in a cool, dry environment. Keep
it away from children.
