Connecting DS1 to your computer

Matrox DS1 utilizes Thunderbolt technology to connect to your computer.
Supply power to Matrox DS1 (see
connect a standard Thunderbolt cable between the Thunderbolt ports on your
computer and DS1. In a daisy-chain setup, Matrox DS1 is the last device in your
Thunderbolt chain.
Matrox DS1 is a hot-swappable device, which means that you can
connect/disconnect DS1 to/from your computer without having to perform a
system reboot. When your computer is connected to DS1, all peripheral devices
connected to DS1 are automatically detected by your Mac system.
