Engine Diagnostics and Codes
Start Sequence 1 (MEFI 7)
• Turn Battery Switch on (if boat equipped).
Start Sequence 2
• Turn key to ignition position.
• 12 volts @ 2C enables Run/Crank Relay (R2).
• Run/Crank Relay then energizes 2E which supplies 12 volts to
ECM J1-51.
• ECM "Wakes Up".
• ECM than provides 12 volts to Bussman 1E and 1F which energizes
Fuel Feed Pump Relays.
• Fuel Feed Pump Relays provide 12 volts to 1C and 1G which turns
on Feed Fuel Pumps for initial prime. Listen for pumps running.
