BEFORE TURNING ON THE AIR CLEANER:

Confirm that all filters are firmly in place
•
If you choose to use the optional VOC/odor filter, you will need to install it
1.
Open the rear grill by gently pushing the
release tabs toward the outside of the
unit. See Fig. 1
2.
Pull the grill away from the body until
the tabs at the bottom of the grill plate
easily slide away. See Fig. 2
3.
Check that the nano‐coil filter is
properly seated by grasping the center
handle and pulling out from the center
hub. Firmly push the nano‐coil filter
back into the unit. See Fig. 3
4.
To install the VOC/odor filter (optional),
remove the plastic bag and place the
filter flush against the pre‐filter, secured
by four clips. See Fig. 4
5.
Place the tabs at the bottom of the grill
plate into the base of the unit and push
the top of the grill plate back toward
the unit. The release tabs at the top of
the grill will click back into place. See
Fig. 5
Pre‐Filter: The pre‐filter will collect larger airborne contaminants and particles. It should be
vacuumed clean every thirty (30) days or more often as needed.
VOC/Odor Filter: The VOC/odor filter will help reduce volatile organic compounds and
odors. It should be replaced whenever the Nano‐Coil filter is replaced.
Nano‐Coil Filter: The Nano‐Coil filter will capture airborne contaminants down to 0.05
microns in size. It should be vacuumed clean every thirty (30) days or more as needed. It
should be replaced when indicated by the "Replace Filter" indicator on the air cleaner.
