5. Loosen the nut on each side of the battery
bracket with a wrench.
6. Pull the bottom end of each battery stay out
of the hole on the battery base, and remove
the combination of the battery bracket and
the stays.
7. Remove the battery cover.
8. Take out the battery carefully.

To install a new battery, reverse this procedure.
Always disconnect the negative (-) cable first, and
reconnect it last.
