●Precautions for Using EXPRESSSCOPE Engine 3, NEC ESMPRO
Manager or ROM Utility
(1) Power threshold setting value
The power threshold setting value can be checked by following the steps below.
■ EXPRESSSCOPE Engine 3 : [Configuration] → [BMC] → [ECO]
■ NEC ESMPRO Manager : [Remote Control] → [Electric Power Management] →
[ECO Setting] → [Power Capping]
■ ROM Utility :
Turn on the power of the server and the following message appears at the lower left of
the screen.
Press <F2> to enter SETUP, <F4> ROM Utility, <F12> Network
Press the <F4> key to enter ROM Utility.
Select [KB_Select] → [BMC Configuration] → [BMC Configuration] → [ECO] → [Configuration].
For the following settings, a value that is higher than the power of the power unit you purchased
can be specified, however, specify a value lower than the recommended values listed below.
The [Power Threshold (Pa)] setting value for [Aggressive Mode] in the edit screen mode

The [Power Threshold (Pn)] setting value for [Non-Aggressive Mode] in the edit screen mode

The recommended setting values for the power units are as follows.
