After you have set the location for the umbrella base, open the knob on Side Base and Middle Base, fill the bases with sand (not included), then pour water (not included) into them until they can not hold any more (make sure the total weight is not less than 265lbs./120kg). - Page 8 Step 3 Release the M6x10 Bolt (BB) from Sunshade (E) using the Hex Wrench (S5).
