    This is a warranty requirement. Table 6 provides guidelines for determining the correct amount of antifreeze. Enertech recommends using the 20 year Extreme Annual Temperature shown in the ASHRAE Fundamentals Handbook, Environment Canada, or local weather data.

Enertech recommends 25% or higher concentration, depending upon location. Lower concentration provides better heat transfer and lower viscosity, but may not provide enough burst protection.
