Dampen a clean lint-free cloth with water and gently wipe the
entire gold-colored area, including the nozzles.

To dissolve dried ink, hold the damp cloth against the nozzles for
about three seconds. Gently blot and wipe dry.

Dampen another section of clean, lint-free cloth with water and
gently wipe the entire gold-colored area, including the contacts.

To dissolve dried ink, hold the damp cloth against the contacts for
about three seconds. Gently blot and wipe dry. Allow the
gold-colored areas to dry before you reinsert the cartridge into
your printer.
Reinstall the print cartridge and repeat the nozzle test. For help, see
page 57.

Wipe the nozzles in one direction so the colors do not
mix.

When cleaning the print cartridge, wipe the contacts in
one direction.
