Technical Specifications / Scope of delivery
For the technical specifications of the Pocket-CASSY 2 Blue-
tooth please consult the CASSY Lab 2 documents.
Several Pocket-CASSYs can be run simultaneously over differ-
ent USB ports. Using the Bluetooth dongle (e.g. 524 0031), up
to seven Bluetooth devices may be connected to a single com-
puter.
Included in the package are an additional matching USB cable
and a power supply plug. Both may be used to recharge one or
more batteries for the Pocket-CASSY 2 Bluetooth (524 019).

Operation
Pocket-CASSY 2 Bluetooth has a push button (1) as an operat-
ing element and a color LED (2). All further operation of the
Pocket-CASSY is done by means of the CASSY Lab 2 software
(524 220).
Push button
If there is no PC connection available, the push button is used
to switch the Pocket-CASSY on or off.
If there is a PC connection, the push button is used to start and
stop the measurement recording as an alternative to the
Start / Stop Measurement command in CASSY Lab 2.

The LED indicates the connection status and battery state:
Green:
USB connection active
Blue, flashing:
Waiting for Bluetooth connection
Blue:
Bluetooth connection active
Red, flashing:
Battery depleting (< 20 %)
Red:
Update firmware with CASSY Lab 2
Off:
Pocket-CASSY switched off or battery empty

the CASSY Lab 2 documents, where there are also numerous
test example descriptions.

Safety precautions
Do not connect voltages exceeding 30V to transducers
and sensor boxes connected to Pocket-CASSY.
Observe possible ground connections between sensors
and computer.
