31. Changing the synchronizer
Note:
The synchronizer is only exchanged as a complete unit
Removal:
Remove mains plug from mains socket

Turn the machine upside down.
•
Unscrew the four screws of the baseplate.
•
Turn the baseplate aroumd.
•
Pull off the plug of five-wire
•
•
Open both cable clips 1 1 9 at catch 120 and remove the five-wire flat cable from the cable guide
(fig. 31a).
Loosen fixing collar screw 33 of synchronizer 34.
•
Remove the synchronizer to the right from the shaft.
•
Frtting:
Push new synchronizer
•
between both guide clamps.
Place the five-wire flat cable 127 in the cable guides.
•
Connect the plug
the c ircuit board (fig. 31).

Adjust synchronizer according to section 5.

Fold the baseplate against the machine and fasten
•
Use testing appliance ABB Metrawatt M 5013 to carry out an electrical safety test according to

VDE 0701.
