These DIP switch settings effectively connect the shield of each coaxial input/output
cable to ground. If you experience artifacts in the audio or video due to grounding
issues, try adjusting these DIP switches to the 'Up' position (shield connected to ground)

or to the 'Down' position (shield not connected to ground).

Solution
A device or cable in the system may not be
properly connected. Replace audio cables, check
physical connections on all equipment and cables
in the system.
CAT5 cable length may be too long.
Try shortening the CAT5 cable.
PCM digital audio signals should run reliably up to
500 feet. If audio drops out at lengths above this,
try a shorter CAT5 cable length.
