Your safety and the safety of others are very important.
We have included many important safety messages in this manual and
on your appliance. Always read and obey all safety messages.
This is the safety warning symbol. This symbol draws your
attention to potential hazards that could result in death or
injury to you and others. All safety messages will follow the
safety warning symbol and the word "DANGER" or
"WARNING". These words mean:
All safety messages will tell you the potential danger, how to reduce
the chances of injury and what could happen if instructions are not
followed.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury when using your
refrigerator, follow these basic precautions:
• Connect the ground connection of the product to an effective
grounding pole.
• Do not remove the ground cable from the product.
• Do not use adapters (*).
• Do not use extension cords.
• The male Schuko plug must be connected to a socket with the same
technical features.
• Disconnect the product before cleaning or repairing.
• After cleaning or repairing, replace all parts before connecting the
product.
• Don´t use flammable cleaning products.
• Keep flammable products, such as gasoline, away from your
refrigerator.
• Use two or more people to move and install the refrigerator.
• Do not damage the cooling circuit.
• Do not use electrical, mechanical or chemical means to accelerate
the defrosting.
• Keep the ventilation openings of the appliance free of obstructions.
• Do not use or place electrical appliances in the product compartments
unless expressly authorized by the manufacturer.
• This appliance is not intended for persons (including children) with
mental, sensory or physical impaired capabilities, or lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they have been instructed or
supervised in the use of the appliance by a responsible person.
• It is recommended children to be supervised to avoid them from
playing with the appliance.
• Do not store explosive substances in this product, such as aerosol
cans with a flammable propellant.
• This product is intended for domestic use and similar applications,
such as:
– Kitchen areas in shops, offices and other work environments.
– Use by clients in hotels, motels and other types of residential
environments.
– Hostel-like environments.
– Buffet and other non-commercial applications.
If you don't follow the instructions right
away, you could die or be seriously injured.
If you do not follow the instructions, you
could die or suffer a serious injury.
