Read the User Instructions carefully before use.
Always take basic safety precautions when using electrical products to reduce the risk of fire, electric
shock and/or personal injury.
WARNING:

Keep the product under careful supervision when it is used by, or near children. Keep children
under supervision to ensure that they do not play with the product.

Do not immerse the product or charger in water or any other liquid – risk of electric shock.

Do not use the product near flammable materials, or burn it – risk of explosion.

Do not use the product if the power cord or plug are damaged, if it is not working properly, if it has
been exposed to water, or if it is damaged in any other way. Return the product to an authorised
service centre to be checked, repaired or adjusted.

Be careful with the power cord. Never carry the product by the power cord. Do not pull the power
cord to unplug the plug. Grip the charger to unplug the power cord. Keep the power cord away from
heat, oil and sharp edges.

Do not allow the power cord to hang over the edge of a table or worktop. The product should be
placed at a safe distance from sink units and hot surfaces.

Do not use an extension cord. Connect the charger directly to a mains outlet.

Do not expose the product to severe strain, this could result in permanent damage.

The charger must be connected to the mains supply (230 VAC).

Do not attempt to charge the battery with any other charger than the one supplied. Do not attempt
to charge other batteries with the supplied charger.

Unplug the power cord before cleaning and/or maintenance.

Keep the battery fully charged when the product is not in use. The fully charged battery can be
stored for up to 3 months without being recharged. The battery can be damaged if it is stored
longer than 6 months without being recharged.

Recharge the battery as soon as possible after use.

Never point the beam at the eyes of people or animals.

Used batteries must be recycled in accordance with local regulations.

The adapter for a 12 VDC vehicle socket must only be connected to a 12 VDC system.

Do not charge the battery for more than 20 hours, this could damage the battery.
