Use
1.
Press the handle button and move the handle to its upper or lower position. Use the upper position
(pistol grip) for spotlighting of remote objects. Use the lower position to search.
2.
Charge the battery before using it for the first time (see CHARGING THE BATTERY).
3.
Switch the product on and off with the power switch. ON → normal brightness → high brightness →
OFF.

Charging the battery

1.
Switch off the product before charging.
2.
Charge the battery with the mains adapter about 10 hours before using it for the first time.
3.
Plug the mains adapter into a power outlet and connect the charger to the product. The red status
lamp on the product goes on. It takes about 10 hours before it is fully charged.
4.
Plug the adapter for 12 VDC into the vehicle's 12 VDC socket and connect the charger to the
product. The red status lamp on the product goes on. It takes about 20 hours before it is fully
charged.
5.
Recharge the product as soon as possible after use.
6.
Do not allow the battery to become completely discharged. Over-discharging will shorten the
battery's useful life.
7.
To avoid the battery becoming completely discharged, recharge it every three months even when
the product is not in use.
8.
Replace the battery is there is a significant reduction in the battery life. Contact your dealer.
NOTE:
The product must only be serviced by qualified service personnel using identical spare parts.
Make sure that the product is completely dry before using it.
Clean the product with a cloth moistened with a mild detergent. Never allow liquid to penetrate into the
product. Never immerse any part of the product in water or any other liquid.
