Back Cushion
with Hot/Cold Pack

INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR BACK CUSHION WITH HOT/COLD PACK

Secure elastic band around the back of the chair and slide cushion down so
that the protruding lumbar support is closest to the seat and facing toward
the user. Removable cushion insert provides extra padding. Cushion insert
and Hot/Cold Pack can be used in varying combinations:
With pack only

Using the Hot/Cold Pack - HOT:

a.
Use hot for muscle ache and muscle tension. Do not apply warm pack immediately
after an injury or to areas of swelling or redness or areas which could be infected.
b. To heat pack: Boil or Microwave. Place pack in boiling water for up to 5 minutues, or
microwave pack for 20 seconds, knead pack to distribute heat, then microwave for
an additional 20 seconds (if required). Be careful when removing pack as it will be
hot! If too hot to touch, let pack cool slightly before using. Knead to distribute heat.

Using the Hot/Cold Pack - COLD:

a. Use cold to relieve pain and reduce swelling caused by injuries such as bruises,
sprains, accute inflammation and inflammatory rheumatic illness or after high
exertion exercise as a precautionary measure.
b. Store in freezer for at least 2 hours before use.
WARNING: Hot/Cold Pack is intended for use inside of cushion only. Do not apply
Hot/Cold Pack directly to the skin.
