To put the DExt into operation, connect the DExt to the last unit of the preceding chain or to the central unit
using the RJ45 plug...
... and with the first unit of the next chain.
Connect the DExt to the mains plug and connect it to the power supply. Only use suitable cables for this
purpose. The DExt has an automatic on/off switch - this means the unit will not start until it receives power
from an upstream console or central unit. The yellow LED (Power) indicates correct operation (if the mains
plug is plugged in and an upstream unit is sending power).
The DExt connectors are only suitable for other devices of the DIGIMIC family. Do not connect
any other devices.
In case of malfunctions, contact a technician, do not attempt to repair, unscrew or similar the
DExt by yourself.

The DExt is ready for use immediately and does not
need to be configured separately.
To switch off the DExt, disconnect the mains plug
from the power supply or switch off the upstream
device.
