None: Never use a screen lock.
• Swipe: Swipe the screen to unlock.
•
Pattern: Create a pattern that you draw on the screen
to unlock your device.
•
PIN: Select a PIN to use for unlocking the screen.
• Password: Create a password for unlocking the
screen.
NOTE: If you forget your pattern, PIN, or password, you will have
to reset your device to factory settings, which will remove all data
from your device.
Fingerprint
Use fingerprint recognition as an alternative to to unlock the de-
vice or to enter certain apps.
You can register up to 3 fingerprints. A pattern, password, or a PIN
will also be set as an alternative to your fingerprint.
To register a fingerprint,
1. Tap Security > Fingerprint under Device security.
2. Choose the required backp screen method.

Smart Lock
Smart Lock keeps your device unlocked when it is connected to a
trusted device or in a familiar location.
Security update
You can easily check the date of the last installed security software
update and find out if newer updates are available.
