  • Page 366 The dust filter traps particles w ith a diameter o f m or greater, and prevents it from entering the vacuum pump, thereby reducing m alfunctions and other hindrances to operation. However, w hen the filter elem ent b ecom es clogged due to a buildup o f particulate, exhaust resistance occurs, adversely affecting the exhaust capacity.
