Summer Infant Gate Manual


READ AND FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE


Incorrect installation can be dangerous.


Do not use the safety barrier if any components are damaged or missing.


The safety barrier must not be fitted across windows.

  • This safety barrier conforms to BS EN 1930:2011.
  • This safety barrier is for domestic use only.
  • This product is for use with children up to 24 months of age.
  • This gate must be fitted between two clean, structurally sound (firm and rigid) surfaces.
  • Suitable for openings between 50cm and 127cm.
  • If the gate is used at the top of the stairs, it should not be positioned below the top level.
  • If the gate is used at the bottom of the stairs, it should be positioned on the lowest stair.
  • This product should be checked regularly to ensure that it is properly fixed and secure.
  • Do not allow older children to climb over the barrier as they may fall or be injured.
  • Only use with lock securely engaged.
  • This safety barrier has a MANUAL closing system.
  • This product contains small parts. Adult assembly required. Exercise care when unpacking and assembling product.
  • Only use replacement parts supplied by Summer Infant.

Maintenance

  • Check all hardware to ensure gate is secure.
  • Do not use gate if any of the components are damaged or missing.
  • Wipe surface with a damp cloth or sponge, using mild detergent and warm water to clean. Towel dry.
