Operation Guidance

Phenyx Pro PRX-500 Audio Mixer has 2 mono XLR&1/4" connected inputs and 1 stereo 1/4" inputs.
Phenyx Pro PRX-600 Audio Mixer has 4 mono XLR&1/4" connected inputs and 1 stereo 1/4" inputs.
Phenyx Pro PRX-700 Audio Mixer has 6 mono XLR&1/4" connected inputs and 1 stereo 1/4" inputs.
Taking connections of PRX-600 as an example.

STEP 1: Connect Inputs

1 - Connecting microphones
Dynamic microphones: XLR/6.35mm
Condenser microphones: XLR/6.35mm
NOTE: remember to turn on separate +48 phantom power to charge your condenser mics.
Wireless microphone system: connect a 6.35mm to XLR/6.35mm to 6.35mm cable between MIX OUT/XLR
OUT of the receiver and MIC/LINE input channel of PRX mixers.
2 - Connecting instruments: 6.35mm
3 - Connecting electronic devices: 6.35mm/USB-A

STEP 2: Connect Outputs

1 - Connecting the speaker: XLR/6.35mm
2 - Connecting the headphone: PHONES (6.35mm mono)
3 - Connecting the in-ear monitor system/powered studio monitor speaker: AUX SEND (6.35mm mono)
NOTE: It's available for mono monitoring via your IEM system.

STEP 3: Powering Up The System

1 - Make sure the mixer is OFF and all the connections are connected successfully
2 - Connect the mixer with power adaptor and screw the cable in
3 - Turning the mixer on.

STEP 4: Getting Sound To The Speaker

1 - Make sure all GAIN and VOL knobs are at the starting point(minimum), and 3-Band EQ knobs and 7-band
stereo graphic equalizer fader are at the middle.

2 - Turn on all devices, from microphones, instruments, sound equipment, PRX mixers to speakers.
3 - Adjust all knobs of all devices based on your need.
