LOWER DECK PLATFORM
This pamphlet is intended to guide you through the
Installation of the 4-foot or 8-foot Low Deck.
The product has been designed to be added to the
QP-400 and QP-427
TM
Models, at the end of a section or, for the 8ft model,
at the end of two sections installed side by side.
If you want to install it on another dock, note that
the posts must have a maximum diameter of 1
-11/16 "(42.86 mm). Also be sure to adjust the length
of the boards according to the dimensions of your
dock.
If you wish to install it on the side of a dock (8' step),
at least two docks must be installed side by side in
order to stabilize everything and avoid flipping over.
As the step is cantilevered, an excess load on the
end of the step could cause the dock to tip over and
cause serious injury.

The set includes:

>
2x aluminum bracket supports with pile clamps
for posts with an outside diameter of 1 11/16"
maximum
(note: all Multinautic posts have an o.d. of 1 11/16")
> The cedar planks, pre-drilled, cut, sanded. And
required screws according to the chosen size (see
chart)
>
4x 1/2" stain. steel set screws for the pile clamps
-2x 4 1/2" carriage bolts.

- Ratchet and 9/16" key

Suggestion:
Although this platform was designed to serve as an
access level, you can also install it above the dock to
serve as a bench or table!
