  • Page 2 Introduction: FoamFly.com is more than just a hobby company. It’s a community too! Please take pictures of your plane, and upload them to the photo gallery. Feel free to drop by and see what all the other foam junkies have been building. There are free plans, and lot’s of tips and ideas as well as unique new planes that you won’t find anywhere else.
  • Page 3 Covering: I usually don’t bother to cover my floats and just fly them bare. The foam is entirely waterproof to begin with. Low-temp iron on covering is the best way to cover your floats for extreme durability, or scale type color matching. If you feel the need for a little covering, some packing tape on the bottom should suffice.
  • Page 4 Be careful during cross-wind taxiing, especially on a high-wing plane. The wind can flip you over if you’re not prepared. If you’ve done it right, the only reason you’ll need a towel is to wipe the sweat from your brow. Enjoy! -Dan ©2008 FoamFly.com...
