Guidelines:
Temperature setting for nylon, acetate
Temperature setting for wool, silk and blends
Temperature setting for cotton and linen (steam)

Dry Ironing

A burnt smell in the first moments of operation is not dangerous and will
disappear in a matter of moments.
1.
For dry ironing use the iron with an empty water tank.
2.
Insert the plug into a wall socket and turn the temperature control dial to
MAX. Wait until the indicator light turns off.
3.
First, iron an old cotton cloth and adjust the desired temperature again with
the temperature control dial.

Steam Ironing

Do not use chemically decalcified water but use the same amount of decalcified
water and tap water for ironing.
Before filling water in the water tank, unplug the iron!
1.
Plug in the power plug. Adjust the temperature control dial to the MAX
position and turn the steam controller to the symbol
water cannot drop out of the vents.
2.
Place the iron upright and wait until the indicator light turns off.
3.
Point the sole in a safe direction and press the steam burst button several
times to blow any debris out of the steam vents.
4.
Turn the steam controller to the desired symbol and adjust the temperature
for ironing. First iron an old cotton cloth. After this all debris should be out of
the steam system.
5.
Always make sure that there is enough water in the water tank.

Steam Burst

1.
Turn the temperature control dial and the steam controller to adjust the
desired temperature and steam. Wait until the indicator light turns off.
2.
Put the clothes on a hanger and hold the sole about 20 – 30 cm away from
the surface.
