Cordless caulking gun 4.8v variable rewind

3.3.
CaRTRiDgE aPPLiCaTiOn.
3.3.1. unscrew the compound holder.
3.3.2. Loosen the M8 screw and remove the plastic head (fig.6).
3.3.3. re-fit the steel head and tighten the M8 screw (fig.7).
3.3.4. screw back on the compound holder and remove the front cap.
3.3.5. use a sharp knife to cut the tip of the caulking tube to the desired width
and angle.
3.3.6. Insert the cartridge into the compound holder. screw the front cap back on.
3.3.7. Push the rear knob forwards gently advancing the rack until it comes into
contact with the cartridge.
3.4
uSing THE SEaLing gun.
3.4.1.
Pass one hand through the toggle strap and grasp the handle while holding the compound holder with the other.
3.4.2.
set the tip of the nozzle in the joint to be filled and press the main trigger switch. the rack will move forward and force the sealant from the
nozzle of the cartridge.
3.4.3.
the rack will retract slightly (rewind) when you release the main switch in order to prevent dripping.
3.4.4.
the cPc48Vr is fitted with a variable rewind feature that enables you to adjust the amount of rewind available to suit your needs.
3.4.5.
to adjust the rewind use a small screwdriver to turn the rewind adjustment screw situated in front of the variable speed control.
clockwise increases the amount of rewind and anticlockwise decreases the amount of rewind.
NOTE!
When pressing the main trigger switch again allow a few seconds for the rack to recover the distance rewound before it dispenses
more sealant.
3.4.6.
use the speed control to adjust the flow rate according the task you are performing.
NOTE!
Do not try to use a cartridge that has hardened as this will cause damage to the caulking gun.
4. MainTEnanCE
4.1.
CLEaning
4.1.1
After completing usage, always remove the tube holder and tube.
4.1.2. regularly inspect tube holder cap to ensure it is properly tightened.
4.1.3. Keep the tube holder and piston joint clean and in proper working order.
4.1.4. Always release the rack back to the correct position for storage after use.
4.1.5. Keep motor vents clear of dust and debris.
4.1.6. If the tool is not operating normally, making unusual noises, or appears defective, stop using it immediately and get it repaired by a
qualified technician.
4.1.7. clean tool with a damp cloth and light detergent. Do not use solvents as they can damage the plastic parts.
recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycle centre and disposed of in a manner which is
compatible with the environment.
When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way.
rechargeable battery contains nickel cadmium (nicad). It is recyclable. take to your local recycling centre to be disposed of properly.
Do not incinerate nicad battery as it may explode when exposed to fire.
Do not attempt to open battery pack.
