No mic audio

With the mic fully unmuted, use the lower volume dial on the headset itself to raise the volume
of the Mic Monitor audio. Then, speak directly into the mic (you do not have to be in a chat to
perform this test).

3. The Headset Works With Another Device
With the mic unmuted, plug the headset itself into a smartphone or similar device.
(Click here for alternate versions of this test if you do not have access to a smartphone with the
proper jack.)
Then, make a test call. Be sure to keep the smartphone itself either covered or in a pocket during
this test.

4. Record A Test Message (Xbox Only)
1. With the headset plugged in to the controller, press the Xbox button while in the home
screen.
