RF Test Equipment
Troubleshooting of the microwave components of the Microwave Converter requires
measurements to 26.5GHz of gain or insertion loss, SWR, power, conversion loss, and
frequency. Instruments which are required to perform these tasks include: signal genera-
tors and sweepers, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and power meters with ac-
companying couplers, pads, line stretchers, etc. Select the appropriate equipment and
use standard test procedures to make these measurements.

Initial inspection
Inspect the shipping container for damage. If the shipping container or cushioning material is damaged,
the shipping materials should be kept until the contents
of
the shipment have been checked for
completeness and the instrument has been checked mechanically and electrically. If there is mechanical
damage or if the instrument does not pass the performance tests, notify the nearest Hewlett -Packard
office. Keep the damaged shipping materials (if any) for inspection by the carrier and a Hewlett-Packard
representative.
