Adjust the Timeout of Your Fire Tablet
Screen
Preserve battery by controlling how long your screen stays
on when not in use:
1. Select Display or Display & Sounds from the Settings
menu.
2. Then select Display Sleep or Sleep.
3. Select how many seconds or minutes your screen
stays on when not in use.
Note: Tap the power button to wake your tablet from Sleep
Mode.
Adjust the Volume on Your Fire Tablet
Follow these suggestions to control your tablet's volume:
• Use the physical volume buttons on your device.
• Adjust the volume in Settings by navigating to Sound
or Sound & Notification and adjusting the volume
slider.
Having trouble? If you can't adjust volume, restart your
device.
