- Page 4 STEP Put the pieces on a flat, soft surface e.g. a carpet to avoid scratching or bumping. Install one leg piece [2] onto the base [3] using screw (A) and washer (F). Fasten with spanner (B). Insert wooden dowel (E) into the hole in the leg as shown.
