- Page 4 STEP Use a clear, flat, soft surface to avoid bumps or scratches. First, connect leg [3] to large leg piece [4] - make sure you select the correct small leg piece to start with, here - they are in labelled boxes. Connect using wooden dowels [C] and threaded rod {I] followed by Washer {D} then Nut {B} and tighten with spanner [G].
