1. Use visual inspection of ear canal and concha to
select Eartip and Anchor size
2. Insert Nanocare

wax guard into Receiver opening
3. Use Earwire Measurement Tool for wire length.
Select Earwire number closest to tragus
4. Insert Receiver into Eartip so that center of
Nanocare

is easily visible when looking through
eartip (right)
5. Attach short arm of Earwire into hearing aid case

IV. Attaching Ear-Set to Hearing Aid
SecureFix Retention Clip should come pre-
attached. In the event that it is not, secure with
slipknots to eye loops.
All 3 flanges of Eartip should fit inside ear canal.
Receiver should be stable in concha as shown

VI. Removing Battery Door
1. Using tool, gently open
battery door at bottom of
case near eye-loop- do not
open door more than 90
2. Remove Battery Door:
-Position cable snugly in
hinge region
-Close door while firmly
holding cable in place-Door
will pop off
3. Attach programming pill
to battery hinge

1. Create client in Noah System; include
date of birth and audiometric information.

2. Open Compass
version 5.1 or >.
3. Select [Detect Wired]. HA should be
detected. Select [Preconditions]
4. What type of thresholds were entered in
the Noah audiogram? Specify in
[Measurement Type]. Enter whether
thresholds were measured with insert
phone or earmold.
5. Choose fitting target and select [OK].
Note: [Widex Pediatric Rationale] is default
target. Estimated fitting is automatically
performed.
1. Average RECD are selected by default.
Use left menu bar to enter your
individualized [RECD] measures. You
may also use the Widex Baby HA to
measure in-situ RECD.
2. Sensogram values are estimated
automatically. These may be measured
for older children by selecting
[Sensogram]
3. If possible, perform a [Feedback Test]
4. Proceed to [Fine-tuning] for Verification
