Chapter 1. About the wireless WAN adapter

This manual provides general information about the ThinkPad EM7455 4G LTE Mobile Broadband (referred
to as wireless WAN adapter).

Product description

If your ThinkPad computer supports the wireless Wide Area Network (WAN) adapter, you can install the
wireless WAN adapter into a Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) Express M.2 card slot in your
computer. With this adapter, your computer can establish wireless WAN connections.
Note: Before establishing wireless WAN connections, ensure that a Subscriber Identification Module (SIM)
card is installed on your computer.
