6. Memory Button
Pressing this button will cause the tape to stop when the tape counter reaches
"000" in fast forward or rewind mode.
7. High-Speed Dub Button
Pressing this button will activate high-speed dubbing mode. Pressing the STOP
button on Deck A or Deck B will stop the unit.
8. Reverse Mode Selector
a.
: Single-side PLAY or REC (tape stops when reaching the end).
b.
: Side A to Side B to STOP, Side B to STOP (tape stops when end of side B
is reached).
c.
: Continuous Auto-Reverse (tape will continuously switch from Side A to
Side B and back during playback).
When in REC or DUB mode, tape will stop when end of Side B is reached.
9. Reset Counter Button
Pressing the Reset Counter Button will reset the Tape Counter to zero, allowing you
to easily relocate to any point on the tape.
10. Normal Speed Dub Button
Pressing this button will activate normal-speed dubbing mode.
11. Rec Mute Button ( )
Pressing this button will insert a four second blank portion during recording. This
can be useful when used with the Blank Skip button (4) for locating passages on
tape.
12. Pause Button ( )
Pressing this button in PLAY or REC mode will pause the tape.
13. REC Button ( )
Pressing this button will place the unit in Record Pause mode. Pressing PLAY
subsequent to pressing the REC button will begin recording.
14. Cassette Door
Press the Eject button (15) when in Stop mode to open this door, for loading and
unloading tapes. This door can be easily removed for tape head maintenance
by pushing it upward and then gently pulling forward.
15. Eject Button
Pressing this button opens and closes the adjacent cassette door.
16. Forward Play Button ( )
Pressing this button activates Forward Play mode. The " " indicator lights, and
the tape plays in a forward direction.
17. Stop Button ( )
Press this button to stop the tape.
