- Page 2 The KWHON1 installation kit allows for the retention of the vehicle’s steering wheel controls and helps maintain the original aesthetic of the interior when installing a new car stereo. The KWHON1 gives you everything you need for a complete install in one box. The components of this kit are compatible for the Honda Civic (Hatchback, 2006-2011) with basic, non-nav factory stereos.
- Page 3 FITTING GUIDE STEREO REMOVAL 1. Remove the screws that surround the centre console and pull it up and out, disconnecting the cigarette lighter in the process. 2. Lever the drivers side panel and undo 1x screw inside. When this is done, take a panel removal tool to the steering wheel surround and just clip out of place to allow room for moving the fascia panel.

Take the steering wheel control interface in hand and connect both the 12-way stereo patch lead and the 14-way steering wheel harness connectors to the corresponding sides. 2. Connect the bullet connector from the stereo patch lead to the ‘steering wheel remote input’ on the back of the new stereo.
