Proper installation, maintenance and operations will provide years of hassle free enjoyment. If you
do have a problem with your fire pit please use this troubleshooting guide to assist a qualified
service technician. A qualified service technician should only use this troubleshooting guide.

Answer
Yes, you can adjust flame height, BTU output using your gas
valve key. Turning the key counter-clockwise will increase
the flame and heat. Turning the key clockwise will decrease
the flame and heat.
Yes, over time steel will patina from moisture in air, use and
water. The steel will turn a darker color.
NO, no combustible or non-combustible material should be
put into the fire pit during or before operation
NO, fire pit must utilize permanent fixed piping for fuel
supply
Possible Cause
Air in the gas line.
Debris in gas line.
Improper gas
pressure.
Burner gas orifices are
blocked

Corrective Action
In a new install, may take several attempts to
purge air from gas line.
Confirm gas line is clear of debris (water, ice,
insulations, dirt, plastic, excessive pipe sealer
etc.).
Natural Gas Supply Pressure: Minimum 3.5" W.C.;
Maximum 7.0"W.C.
Liquid Propane Gas Supply Pressure: Minimum
8.0" W.C.; Maximum: 11.0" W.C.
Inspect burner ring to ensure holes are not
obstructed (debris, corrosion, spider webs etc).
Natural Gas Supply Pressure: Minimum 3.5" W.C.;
7.0"W.C.
Liquid Propane Gas Supply Pressure: Minimum
8.0" W.C.; Maximum: 11.0" W.C.
As gas supply gets low, flame will get low or
flame will go out. Refill tank (L.P.).
