There have been several enhancements to the projector's menus that are not
reflected in the current user's guide. This addendum describes these new
features.
Overscan, in the Advanced menu, removes noise around the video image.
You can choose to crop or zoom and crop the resulting image.
White Peaking, in the Gamma menu, increases the brightness of whites
that are near 100%.
Chroma Delay, in the TrueLife menu, aligns the Luma and Chroma signals.
Addendum
Sleep Timer, in the System menu, allows you to force the projector to auto-
matically shutoff after 4 hours.
Blue Only, in the Service menu, turns off the Red and Green portions of the
input, allowing you to properly adjust the color balance with a SMPTE color
bar pattern.
ADC Calibration, in the Service menu, allows adjustment of the calibrated
ADC values so that color accuracy can be optimized. Adjust the slidebars
for each value and note the change in the appropriate color. Use a compo-
nent input when adjusting the Component controls.
Sync Threshold Adjust, in the Advanced menu, helps with signal synchro-
nization. If a hardware device, such as a DVD player, is not syncing prop-
erly with the projector, select this option to help it to sync when connected
to the projector. You must reacquire the signal (press Auto Image or
unplug/re-plug the source's cable) after selecting or deselecting this option.
